The real cause of cellulite and how to get rid of it

I’ve talked about fascia before, but I want to give you a more in depth look at what it is and how it causes what we call “cellulite”. What is cellulite? It is unhealthy, bound fascia. Fascia covers your entire body and surrounds your muscles and organs.


What causes fascia to look bumpy and uneven?


There are many things that can cause fascia to be unhealthy. These things include:


  • Injuries

  • Build up of toxins

  • Dehydration

  • Overuse

  • Tight clothing

  • Poor posture


Things we do in our everyday lives is what leads to fascial adhesions and the appearance of cellulite. It has little to do with fat!


Other problems with unhealthy fascia.


Not only do you see the effects of bound fascia under your skin, it also limits you. When it is tight and restricted, you can’t get the blood flow you need to your body. What if you could have greater mobility and less pain?


How to release bound fascia.


If you want to get a smooth body, you have to release the bound fascia. How do you do that? Through fasciablasting, flushing your body, and activating your muscles.  


This is exactly what I do in the Smooth & Sculpt service here at Body. Here’s what happens when you come:


Treatment #1


You sit in the infrared sauna to heat up and soften your fascia. The sauna has a dual effect, because it helps you detox and burn calories.


Treatment #2


After you get out of the sauna, you go through endermologie treatments. This is where I use lymphatic drainage techniques and help you shed excess water. You’ll be left with beautiful, glowing skin.


Treatment #3


Once your fascia is ready, I use the Fasciablaster on your body to break up the tight fascia under your skin. It only takes a few treatments to see real results.
